Two of our lawyers have been selected by the inaugural, nationwide Benchmark Litigation “Under 40 Hot List”–shareholders Justin R. Sawyer and Mariposa Padilla Sivage. They are two of only six lawyers honored in New Mexico this year for being outstanding litigators younger than 40 years of age.
Mr. Sawyer practices primarily in commercial litigation, foreclosures, creditors’ rights, real estate litigation, bankruptcy and Indian law. He has extensive experience in judicial foreclosures, representing banks, mortgage companies, mortgage loan servicers and other financial institutions, specializing in complex contested residential and commercial foreclosures.
Ms. Padilla Sivage, our Litigation Practice Group Leader, represents clients in a variety of civil and commercial litigation. She has considerable experience representing governmental entities and public employees. She handles complex litigation involving prison liability, probate and estate disputes, construction claims, premises liability, civil rights, governmental defense, insurance and tort defense.
