Katharine Downey Prevails in Navajo Supreme Court for Child

Katharine C. Downey reminded us today about the power of the law and lawyers to help people.  Ms. Downey, acting on a pro bono basis as guardian ad litem for a Navajo child, argued the child’s case to the Navajo Supreme Court, which has ruled in her favor. In sticking up for the child’s best interests, Ms. Downey displayed the finest qualities of the legal profession.
