Genevieve M. Lawson has joined Sutin, Thayer & Browne, where she primariy practices Real Estate Law with additional practice areas consisting of Trademark Law, and Insurance Defense matters.
Genevieve (Gen) has an extensive background and education. She has earned a number of degrees from various universities as well as community colleges in New Mexico as well as through the Air Force. After recieving an Associates Degree from Santa Fe Community College, Gen became a police office and served for six years in the police force. In 2001 Gen joined the Air Force and the New Mexico Air National Guard in 2011. During her time in the miliary, Gen was deployed to war twice, Afghanistan in 2014 and Kuwait in 2017. She has been awarded several metals for her service.
In 2003, Gen made the decision to go to Law School, and graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2007 with her Juris Doctorate. Following Law School, Gen worked for the U.S. Attorneys Office, the First Judicial District Attorney, the Second Judicial District Attorney, and the New Mexico Public Defender Department.
