We are pleased to welcome three 2019 summer clerks to our firm: Nishant Patel, Anna Trillo and Sun Vega.
Mr. Patel is a first-year law student at St. Louis University School of Law. He is from Albuquerque and attended University of New Mexico for undergraduate and graduate studies before law school.
Ms. Trillo is a first-year law student at University of New Mexico School of Law. She comes to us through the New Mexico State Bar’s Arturo Jaramillo Summer Clerk program, established in 1993 to offer promising first-year students of diverse backgrounds the opportunity to clerk in legal settings. Ms.Trillo is from Moriarty, NM, and graduated from University of New Mexico with bachelor’s degrees in business and Spanish and a master’s in business administration.
Ms. Vega is a second-year law student at University of New Mexico School of Law. She is interested primarily in healthcare law and associated areas of practice. She is originally from Portales, NM, where she attended Eastern New Mexico University.
The firm’s clerks program lasts 12 weeks each summer and is one of the firm’s hiring pools. The clerks submit to a rigorous interview process and are chosen from approximately 30-40 applicants. They perform work under the direction of the firm’s lawyers and gain experience in working in a law office.
