Mariposa Padilla Sivage

MARIPOSA PADILLA SIVAGE practices primarily in real estate law. She represents numerous financial institutions in structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial real estate and asset-based loans. She frequently acts as local counsel in multistate loan transactions.

In her real estate practice, she represents local, regional, and national clients in a broad range of real estate matters including the structuring, negotiating, and implementing of joint venture, construction, sale, purchase and leasing transactions for industrial properties, shopping centers, office buildings, apartment projects, renewable energy (wind, solar and transmission) development, and other commercial properties.

Ms. Padilla Sivage worked in the field of marketing and public relations prior to her legal career.

Ms. Padilla Sivage practices chiefly in the area of transactional business law, representing many of the state’s largest public and private institutions, including banks and other lenders, hospitals, universities, and commercial and industrial developers of all sizes in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex projects. Among other matters, she has:

  • Advised clients regarding investment properties in New Mexico
  • Advised and assisted clients with regard to the organization and operation of partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs
