Isaac A. Leon has earned his Tax LL.M. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Graduate Tax Program. Isaac is a member of the Firm’s commercial group, where his wide-ranging practice focuses on taxation, mergers and acquisitions, public finance, and general business and corporate law. He assists with private securities offerings under Regulation D, advising on taxable and tax-exempt financings, and counseling business owners regarding tax implications as part of the purchase or sale of their businesses.
Isaac holds an M.B.A. from the UNM Anderson School of Management, a Bachelor of Accounting degree from NMSU, and earned his J.D. from the UNM School of Law, graduating cum laude. While working on his LL.M., Isaac won first place in the ABA Law Student Tax Challenge in 2021 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the State Bar’s Business Law Section.
