Sutin, Thayer and Browne, a law firm with offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, is pleased to announce its stellar ranking this week as Highly Recommended for 2012 by the esteemed Benchmark Litigation national ratings book.
It is the second year running Sutin has placed in the top five leading firms in New Mexico.
Sutin not only made the list as a top firm but also earned several individual mentions in the categories of Local Litigation Stars and Future Stars.
Named as current stars were Paul Bardacke, Gail Gottlieb, Kerry Kiernan, Ronald Segel and Andrew Simons.
“Paul Bardacke is the best mediator in the state, and anyone will agree with that,” the book quotes a competitor as saying. “He is the most famous litigator in the state.”
The guide identifies stars as “lawyers who are recommended by peers and clients to have established consistent reputations as trial attorneys” and future stars as those likely to be become local litigation stars soon.
Benchmark Litigation spotlighted Michelle Ostrye, Benjamin Thomas and Christina West as rising stars.
Benchmark has for five years independently identified leading U.S trial attorneys and firms at local and national levels. Its rankings and editorials are the result of extensive interviews with private practice lawyers and in-house counsel, as well as answers to questionnaires. Firms cannot pay to be recommended.
“We have used other firms,” a client is quoted as saying to the assessment team, “but the Sutin firm has invariably done a better job. They are our law firm of choice.”
Sutin, Thayer and Browne, one of the largest firms in New Mexico, has been providing exceptional service to its clients since 1946.
